My colleague, State Representative Quentin Phipps, and I created a legislative action group that will work together to study existing policies and identify opportunities to support local Downtowns, such as our very own, Main Street.
We created the Connecticut Main Street Group to address concerns about neglected downtown areas in cities and towns and the need to restore vitality, local connectivity and sustainability in order to spur economic growth.
We both look forward to the work ahead and discovering innovative ideas to improve our Main Street to support smart growth and business.
